I was searching the internet for some 70′s styles for a gathering i maybe attending and came across this site. it brings back so many memories of how we would dress growing up. i love it. How did you come about getting these vintage outfits and exspecially the shoes? it is so hard to find shoes and boots made in those styles. thank you for sharing.

Lol I just watched this on netflix 2 weeks ago. I was the same watching it with my friends as a kid and wanting to be just like her all because she could dance and weloved her outfits. When I watched it again I was like the hell was I thinking, I must have ignored the pregnancy part.

I remember that movie, but I never could watch the whole things once I found out she was pregnant. Maybe I’ll watch it all the way through this time.

WOOOOWWWWW I def had these when I was younger. My mom always bought my sisters and I black dolls like Shani and huggybeans and I loved them so! She even tells the story every freaking day about how I cried and threw myself on the floor for a Shani. Unfortunately I lost her in a cab but I loved her so much *tear* I would def buy one for display in my room!

Is the schedule out for the Ebony Fashion Fair? I am working with the Central Ohio Transplant Association in doing a fashion show in Sept. or Oct. 2012 in Columbus, OH. I did not want it to conflict with the Ebony Fashion Fair fashion show and wanted to know if you would be here this year, and if so, what is the corresponding date? Our fashion show will have proceeds going to a 12 yr. old girl (Jassmine Cobb) who has a severe case of Sickle Cell Anemia and a life-saving bone marrow transplant. As a result of her surgery, C.O.T.A is assisting her parents in paying related medical expenses. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
